Solar Panel Installation: The MPRB received a grant from Xcel Energy to install solar panels at several of our parks across the system. One of the locations for the solar panel installation is at Webber Park NSP pump house. MPRB will present at the June Board meeting to provide a quick up date and project details.
A Celebration of the Webber Natural Pool has been delayed until July to coincide with the Aquatennial. The pool will open the first week of June and then however, will be closed for one week for plant maintenance. Pedestrian crossing stripes have been installed on Webber Parkway.
The end of June brings the Block Leaders Gathering, and August 13 will be the Truck Extravaganza in Webber Park.
Do you know that the Clothing Closet at North United Methodist Church is open to serve on the First Monday at 6 p.m. and the first and second Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. till noon?
