Road construction and trains

I have never written a letter to the editor before but I am at the end of my patience with this crazy combination of road construction and trains that go on for miles. This is the third time this week that I have been either in the Webber-Camden area or Victory neighborhood and have not been able to get home! I live in Shingle Creek and when there is a train, which happens numerous times a day, the trains are so long they block all three crossings we have left to get over the tracks now that Osseo Road is blocked. And let’s not forget that the Dowling exit off and onto 94 is also not accessible. And I am in a car! What about those neighbors who are walking, biking or in a wheel chair! Why has this not been addressed by the city?

The Canadian Pacific Railroad should not be allowed to have these trains go on forever and then stop right in the middle of the crossings to do whatever it is they do that holds things up even longer! Where are the rights of the people in these neighborhoods that are left with no options? We need to get organized and demand the city address this! Anyone else upset?
