There is significant progress on the D line road and station construction, so here’s an update. Dates below are forecasts, and are subject to change based on weather and unforeseen conditions
Emerson and Plymouth
• Construction began the week of July 12. The intersection will be partially closed for 2-3 months, with lane restrictions in place. Construction will include station platforms, new pedestrian ramps, new signals and sidewalks, street pavement and utility work.
Construction continues at these intersections:
Fremont and 35th Ave
• Construction includes station platforms, new sidewalk, new pedestrian signals and ramps, street pavement, and utility work. In July crews began work on lane striping.
Emerson/Fremont and Lowry
• Construction includes station platforms, new sidewalk, new pedestrian signals, utility work, and new street pavement. Intersections were partially closed April 15, with lane closures in place for up to four months. In mid-July crews began work on lane striping.
Emerson/Fremont and Broadway
• Construction includes station platforms, new pedestrian ramps, new signals and sidewalks, street pavement, and utility work. Intersection was partially closed June 14 with lane restrictions in place for up to four months. Crews also began work on electrical signals. And crews began pouring the concrete bus platform and perform shelter concrete work.
