Wisdom of salutatorian Mai Vang Lor and several graduation photos are on Facebook.
The 2020-2021 school year was capped with the installation of an art mural in the hallway (pictured). This is the beginning of a series of student created art to line the corridors. The project will continue next school year with the goal of having art murals that represent our students, where they come from and where they are going.
In the photo are students Alaysha Mustin, Tsiaglias Thao, Kou Xiong and Joseph Becker on the computer, surrounded by district carpenters, art instructors Emily Krikava and Paris Berry and Principal Yusuf Abdullah. Additional students who worked on this mural were Jalene Gekonge, Eleanor Gekonge, Patxeng Vang, Chee Lee, John Barrientos, Stephanie Estrada, Jack Auginash, Adriana Jara, Melanie Lee, Skyler Phimphasarn and Juna Krikava. The mural reads:
“For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it,
if only we’re brave enough to be it.”
