Do you or someone you know need help with home maintenance?

Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity’s Brush with Kindness program serves struggling metro homeowners whose home needs paint, maintenance and general restoration work.

Examples of the work they do are interior/exterior painting and carpentry work, including accessibility modifications. Larger health and safety projects, such as roof replacements, electrical and plumbing work, are considered depending on program funding and resources. Much of the work can be done year-round.

Homeowners are eligible if: the home is owner-occupied and you have lived in the home at least two years; you make a combined household income that is below 60 percent of the area median income; and you are unable to get the work completed yourself.
