SCNA elects Board Members for 2019-2021
Congratulations to our newest board members MarLynn Schleeter, Ashley Cavalier and Martha Grimes who will be joining reelected SCNA Board members: Julie Voight, Jared Voight and Lori Thayer for the 2019-21 two-year cycle. SCNA also added three ExOfficio board members this year: Meg Allen, Apani Chavez and Dominique Gilmer, who all will be joining current board members Larry Bontreger, Jeff Strand, Patty West, Deanna Averill and Fred Statema for another exciting year of advocating, promoting, and benefiting the Shingle Creek neighborhood! Congratulations!
Shingle Creek Common Ground Garden seeks volunteer gardeners!
Applications are now being taken for gardeners interested in gardening at the Shingle Creek Common Ground Garden at 52nd and Newton Aves! It is a demonstration raingarden and natural wooded garden with 12 raised bed garden plots for flowers or vegetables! Plots are $15 to help cover the cost of water and supplies.
