Why are Shingle Creek Residents getting involved with SCNA?
*I’m Jean Hawkins-Koch. I live right along the creek with my husband, daughter, two dogs, cat and two fish. I’m thrilled to be part of a neighborhood that has so many amenities and a community that is enthusiastic about its preservation. I joined the board to show my commitment to the improvement of Shingle Creek’s safety, livability and economic opportunities.
Hey there! My name is Jared Voight, and I’m the youngest board member of SCNA (only 19!). I was formerly the captain of the Patrick Henry High School robotics team, Herobotics, with whom SCNA has a partnership with. I’m currently attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, pursuing a degree in environmental engineering. My biggest passions lie within goodwill, community service and altruism, and I pursue them through an online video-gaming livestream for charity that I host twice a year within our community. If you see me at an SCNA event or meeting, don’t be afraid to say hello!
