The Capri Glee! Adult Community Choir, under the direction of J.D. Steele, presents their fall concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 17 at the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway. The concert is free and open to the public.
Director J.D. Steele brings out the best in 50 Capri Glee! voices from all across the community for this concert of great music, joy and inspiration. Two guest choirs, the MacPhail Community Youth Choir and the Mill City District Singers, will also perform. You’ll hear gospel, soul, Brazilian rhythms, and old and new Capri Glee! favorites, accompanied by pianist Fred Steele and band.
Capri Glee! singers have been described as “very high energy, very positive and contagious” — a testimony to J.D. Steele’s inventive and inclusive teaching style and engaging music selections. Audience members will be invited to sing along throughout the evening as well, as the Capri lights up with musical messages of unity and hope. Come experience this!
