I’m a long-time resident of the Shingle Creek area, and we have a long-standing concern.
Why can’t we get drivers to stop for the stop signs at 49th and Russell? We see school buses, big semi-trucks, motor cycles, and all manner of private cars and trucks run the stop signs. We very rarely see police writing tickets.
Would it be possible to get some type of flashers on those signs or a least some orange flags to alert people to stop? There are times when it is scary to even pull out of the alley because you can’t count on people stopping. We need help!
