Aladdin Jr. featured students of all ages from three schools

Students from Patrick Henry High, Olson Middle, and Loring Elementary Schools collaborated to present the play, Aladdin Jr. on March 16 and 17 at the Henry high auditorium. The students from the three schools worked together learning the songs, lines and dances and made the performance a fun and memorable show for all who attended. Several students learned about “how” to run a play—lighting, staging, set design, sound systems, etc. Both nights of performances were well-attended by friends and family of the actors and actresses.

Aladdin Jr. (presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International) was directed by Kelly Lethert, IB Theatre Teacher at Henry. Choreography was handled by Kajsa Jones and the Music Director was Norris Anderson. The lead roles of Aladdin and Jasmine were played by Henry senior Noah Branch and Henry junior Camille Beckers. The music was provided by the Henry High School Band under the direction of Elizabeth Roth.

It was inspiring to see the cast and crew from the multiple grade levels and diverse backgrounds come together to put on a performance to make the Northside proud! Way to go cast and crew of Aladdin Jr!
