Get in on the fun and experience the benefits of singing with others! Capri Glee! choir members create music, learn and laugh together, gain confidence, skills and friends. Veteran music-readers to never-sang-in-a-choir-before singers and everyone in between are welcome. Directors J.D. Steele and Dennis Spears bring a wealth of knowledge, a passion for music and an openhearted ability to bring all singers into the spirit of the songs they teach.
The Capri Glee! Youth After-School Choir is free to students in grades K-5. The choir meets from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays from September 26 to November 14 at the Capri.
The Capri Glee! Adult Community Choir, for ages 18 and up, meets from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, September 27 to November 8, with a free or pay as you can tuition scale.
Singers are welcome to join after the first session, and both choirs will perform in concert at the Capri at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15. Info and register at thecapritheater.org or 612-643-2058.
