Kids Voting Minneapolis (KVM) is a community-based, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to prepare Minneapolis’ 50,000 K-12 students to be educated, informed voters.

Minneapolis exceeds $1 billion in building permits issued

The City of Minneapolis surpassed the $1 billion mark in construction projects for 2016. This is the third year in a row Minneapolis has had more than $1 billion in construction projects approved since 2000 based on the value of permits issued for the year. With additional development submissions pending, there is a high potential of reaching $2 billion in construction projects approved yet this year.

As of September 4 seven new single-family homeownership building permits were issued in the 4th Ward.
