Congratulations Camden News 40th anniversary issue
Congratulations to Camden News on your 40th issue! It is such a positive force to tell the good community stories that don’t hit the mainstream news about North Minneapolis. We appreciate all you that you do!
33rd Annual Minneapolis National Night Out
National Night Out Tuesday, August 2
Planning for this year’s National Night Out has begun! It is free to participate and when you register your event, you will get free Mystery Point Passes for Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America. Register your event at minneapolismn.gov/nno/nno_register or call 311. If you want to block your street, you can do so for free through July 19 (not all streets can be blocked, depending on traffic flow). From July 20-27, there is a $100 fee. After July 27 no applications for blocking off a street will be allowed. Last year Minneapolis ranked number one for registered NNO block events. Help make Minneapolis number one again! For more information and planning ideas and tools, visit the Minneapolis NNO website at minneapolismn.gov/nno.
