
Join fellow park lovers to enjoy spring as it unfolds at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary – it’s a special, historic native plant botanic garden. The Garden offers a range of programs for all ages through spring, summer and fall.
The 2025 Season and hours: April 15-October 15, Tuesday-Sunday, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; Thursdays open until 8 p.m. through August 31. Closed Mondays.
Join Garden staff for tours, birding and much more for all ages! The programs below are free, no registration necessary. Additional programs and special events to be announced throughout the season.
Tour the Garden: Learn about the Garden’s native plants from trained naturalists. Daily Tours are Tuesday-Sunday at 11 a.m. and Flower Hour tours are Thursday evenings, May 1 – August 28
Birding: Early Birders, Saturday mornings throughout the Garden season. Evening Birding Strolls, Thursday evenings in May and June.
Other programs: Nature Storytime & Activities, Thursdays from May 1 and Sundays from May 18; Knitting in Nature – select Thursdays, May through August. Browse current and upcoming Garden programs at minneapolisparks.org/register.
