Here’s some background: Since 2011, Northside residents and the City have explored a neighborhood greenway. The project will connect parks, schools, local businesses and other community destinations. The project also includes improvements for hiking, walking, traffic calming, recreation and green space.

The overarching goals of the project include: Advance health equity; create a low-stress place for people to walk, bike and roll; provide green urban space as an area for recreation and community connection; and engage/work with the community throughout the planning process.
