The Webber Library is thrilled to offer a safe space for youth to game with their friends or by themselves. Every Friday from 2:30-4 p.m. teens and children can utilize the Camden study room to play video games on the library’s Nintendo Switch console.
All players are required to sign up to play, and there is a four-person limit for each time slot. Slots are given on a first come first serve basis and are 30-minutes. If no one else signs-up players can continue to play until someone else does or until 4 p.m. The library will provide all necessary gaming equipment and asks that players leave games or equipment they may own at home. Experience with video games is recommended, as library staff will not be available to coach, but is not required.
