Fall Harvest Celebration – Saturday, October 26 from 1-3 p.m. at the Victory Community Garden (4701 N. Vincent Ave). Join us in celebrating another year of growth. Come lend a hand with weeding, repairing beds and winterizing the garden. Stop by to learn about how to get involved as a gardener, volunteer or committee member, or even just enjoy some light refreshments.
Community Garden Meetups – Thursdays 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Victory Community Garden (4701 N. Vincent Ave). We’ll be tending beds, doing general maintenance and hanging out. Come stop by to learn about the garden, lend a hand, or just say hello.
Volunteers are needed to help with pollinator gardens at Loring School (2600 N. 44th Ave). No experience needed. This is a great hands-on opportunity to help or learn about pollinator plants and gardens. Typical commitment would be one hour every 1-2 weeks.
