I want to remind the community that besides selling nuts, bolts, nails and tools, our local North End Hardware can sharpen garden tools. One of mine which is sometimes called a weed whacker or weed cutter, but in my family has always been called an idiot stick, was in need of sharpening before I start taking down the daylilies and hostas along my sidewalks this fall.
When I asked if North End could do that, I was happy to learn they not only could, but it only cost a few bucks. I love having this local business and asset!
