Did you remember to take a few days to visit friends and family, get outdoors, or just sit and chill on a porch or patio this summer? We hope so, because it’s that time of year again, when school and sweater weather make a comeback. Meanwhile, at the Capri, the 2024-25 season of programming begins.

This month sees the return of Legends @ the Capri, now in its 15th year, with both season and individual tickets available.

Trumpeters Omar Abdulkarim and Solomon Parham, veteran local jazz talents, will kick off the series with “Miles to Go in Old Orleans” on September 14-15. This tribute to Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, 3 p.m. Sunday.

CoMingL, the trio of singers featuring g’Beau, William Wesley, and Kelz, pay homage to the musical majesty of Lionel Richie in “All Night Long,” on November 14-15, backed by a so-tight seven-piece band.

See the full Season 15 of Legends concerts at thecapri.org.
