Wading pools and school-site pools will open in parks adjacent to Minneapolis Public Schools properties after the last day of classroom instruction in June. They’re free to use! Daily hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Keep safety in mind while enjoying the wading pools, there are no lifeguards. Restrooms are accessible outside recreation centers available during the same hours. The final day of the season is September 2.
For other Northside aquatics facilities, Webber Natural Swimming Pool, Jim Lupient Water Park and North Commons Water Park , the regular open season begins Saturday, June 15.
From now through September 2 an interactive map (at minneapolisparks.org/pools) shows open locations and temporary or seasonal closures for maintenance, repairs or construction.
