Camden High observations

One of Grandfather Teachings – Honesty, Kitchi Sabe, sculptured by K’Mari Blair, Camden High art student of Ms. Krikava.

In observing May’s National American Indian Month at Camden High School we presented the Seven Grandfather Teachings of the Ojibwe culture. These teachings encompass the morals, values and spiritual beliefs commonly shared by the Indigenous people of North America. The seven teaching principles of Love, Respect, Bravery, Truth, Honesty, Humility and Wisdom were on display, accompanied with creatures and stuffed animals representing those attributes.

Students also observed May’s Asian American Heritage Month with the Annual May Show held on May 17 and the Arts of Asian Cultures of Camden High display.

The Camden High School graduation will convene on Saturday, June 15 at the Minneapolis Convention Center at 11 a.m.
