You can comment on mayor’s recommended 2024 City budget

There are upcoming public hearings to provide feedback on Mayor Jacob Frey’s recommended 2024 City budget. Comments can also be submitted at the City’s website.

The proposed 2024 budget is $1.8 billion with a proposed tax levy of 6.2 percent. The City Council has started reviewing the 2024 budget – the second year of the biennial budget cycle – and will vote on adopting the budget Tuesday, December 5.

City budget public hearings will take place at City Hall, room 317, 350 S. Fifth St.: 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, and Truth in Taxation hearing, 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5. The City Council will vote on adopting the budget following the hearing.
