Loring Elementary had their first annual Cinco De Mayo Celebration on Friday, May 5. It was a fabulous event with standing room only attendance! Maestra Doris, Spanish Teacher at Loring, prepared for months with Loring scholars for the event! Scholars wore handmade, colorful costumes and performed dances representing Spanish speaking countries from around the world. This was an event that involved the entire school, from the delightful preschoolers to the senior leaders, the 5th graders! It was a wonderful event with smiles and fun for all who attended.
