FNA Community Night: Tuesday, April 4, 6:30 p.m. at 3701 Fremont Ave N
-We will have representatives from the Fremont Clinic, which is located in the Folwell Neighborhood at 33rd and Fremont. They will discuss their resources and services, as well as the process to re-enroll in SNAP and Medical Benefits.
Spring Clean Sweep – April 29 and 30
-Sign up to help clean up the neighborhood! We will provide supplies!
-Because of a generous grant from the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO), we have the opportunity to PAY the youth of the Folwell Neighborhood to get involved this spring! We have ways for kids of all ages to get involved (even the littles), so contact info@folwell.org for more information.
-Join us at the kick-off event for lunch on April 29 between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. before we go out to clean up!
Garden Opening at Zen on Penn and The Story Garden- May 13
-Join us at Zen on Penn (36th and Penn) and The Story Garden (35th and Humboldt) to prepare the gardens- or just come out and enjoy some company!
Garden Tool Swap at Folwell Park- May 13, 9 a.m.-noon
-Have too many tomato cages? Looking for some new planters? Along with Minneapolis Solid Waste and Recycling, we are hosting the annual citywide swap event of garden tools and plant related equipment. Bring what you have, take what you like-all at no cost.
