Free summer meals and snacks for youth

This summer youth 18 years and under can receive nutritious meals and snacks free of charge at parks, libraries, other community spaces, as well as the MPS food truck and food bus. These free meals and snacks are part of the Minneapolis school district’s participation in the federally funded Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

Whether it’s after school, on school-release days, or during the summer, kids (18 and under) can visit participating community sites for free healthy meals and snacks from Minneapolis Public Schools. Children do not need to attend Minneapolis Public Schools to participate.
