Community Engagement Events

Victory Garage Sale. ViNA would like to thank all who participated in the Victory annual garage sale the weekend of June 4 and 5. We hope you enjoyed the sales.

Block Ambassador Meet and Greet. ViNA would like to thank the livability committee for hosting a Block Ambassador meet and greet at our ViNA Community Food Garden on June 14. Block Ambassadors are part of our Welcome Program. ViNA Block Ambassadors volunteer their time to create a social network on their block and connect their neighbors to the larger Victory community as well as act as a communication arm between the Victory Neighborhood Association and Victory residents.

Community Visioning for 44th and Penn

Victory residents, we need your input for the development of the previously city owned property on the corner of 44th and Penn. ViNA is working with Justice Built Communities which has acquired development rights to the property. We are seeking your input about what you would like to see on this site that will benefit our community. We will be seeking community input at listening sessions along with utilizing an online tool. Justice Built Communities will be hosting a listening session on July 13 from 4-6 p.m. Location to be determined.

National Night Out

Tuesday, August 2 is National Night out. ViNA is encouraging Block Ambassadors and community members to host an inclusive event to bring neighbors together. If you would like to register your National Night Out event with the city of Minneapolis and or request a permit to block off your street so you can host your event on the street, you must submit your application to do so by July 19 2022.
