Legends @ the Capri presents Let’s Go Crazy, a saucy and volcanic tribute to Prince and the legendary music he gave to the world, at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 28 and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 29 at the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway.
Dr. Mambo’s Combo, a band that Prince sat in with on many occasions at Bunker’s in downtown Minneapolis, is the headliner, with featured vocalists Ashley Commodore and Julius Collins. Twin Cities’ poet and spoken word artist, Marc Lewis, will be introduced at these concerts, and audiences should also be prepared for a surprise appearance from Prince’s New Power Generation!
General admission tickets are $25, or $20 each for groups of 10 or more, and are available at capri.simpletix.com or 612-643-2024. Walk-in tickets at the door, as available, are $30.
