Many of you may know Sanford Moore as the founder, director and arranger for the vocal group Moore by Four. You may also be familiar with his work as a composer and music director at theaters throughout the Twin Cities. But you may not know that he is a classically trained pianist – and for his Recital in Paradise, Sanford Moore is going back to those classical musical roots. You’ll hear him perform Beethoven, Chopin and some of his other favorite classical composers.
“It’ll be a gorgeous evening of music, and you’ll want to prepare for a formal affair,” said Dennis Spears, Artistic Director of Legends @ the Capri. “It’s our first Legendsconcert in the Paradise Community Hall at the Capri, and we are doing it up right, with an elegant set and a stunning piano concert by Sanford.”
Moore’s recital will also include jazz and gospel music, and vocal performances by special guests to be announced. The concert will be held in the Paradise Community Hall at the Capri. Two extra performances in February have been added to the original schedule.
