There are two upcoming online public hearings for people to provide feedback on Mayor Jacob Frey’s recommended 2022 City Budget. Comments can also be submitted online at minneapolismn.gov/government/meetings/public-comment/online-comment/.
Online public hearings are at 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1 and at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8.
Comments submitted online will be entered into the public record and shared with the mayor and council members. The City Council is scheduled to vote on adopting the budget on Wednesday, Dec. 8.
The proposed 2022 $1.599 billion City budget includes a 5.45 percent levy increase.
