If you own a business in Webber-Camden, the Webber-Camden Neighborhood Organization (WCNO) wants to hear from you! They are trying to contact all Webber-Camden businesses to see what they may need as the pandemic continues; employees are hard to find and there are still aftereffects from the unrest last year. Economic conditions are still uncertain, and they want to help. Go to the short survey at https://forms.gle/6GeBjmkGBZf6WN2WA and let them know what you need; what you’re thinking would help local businesses succeed.
WCNO, partnering with Neighborhood Development Center (NDC), will look at all the returned surveys and try to respond as quickly as possible. With this information, they’ll also compile a list of business assistance resources, a business directory available to the residents of the upper Northside as well as promotional activities to let everyone know the outstanding products and services available right in the neighborhood! In addition, they’ll hold a business forum so folks can tell them what kind of support businesses need on an on-going basis. NDC offers a range of entrepreneurial technical assistance and loan programs that they’ll talk about then as well.
WCNO has also received approval for funding from the City of Minneapolis Façade Grant program. If you’re interested in improving the exterior of your business, contact patricia@wcno.org and she’ll get all of the relevant info to you.
Webber-Camden businesses are essential to the quality of life in the neighborhood. We all need to support them in every way possible. Thank you all for your hard work every day!
