Recognition of neighbors

Kenneth Caldwell leads youth during the Sip @ Paint event at Webber Park.

The Webber-Camden Neighborhood Organization (WCNO) is recognizing Maria Ahlgren and Tommy Valerio as change-makers in the community, and has recognized them with our Change Maker Award.

Maria Ahlgren is the chair of the Youth and Family Committee. She has spent countless hours facilitating programs to give youth fun and safe spaces to be in our community this year. Many of these events have been in partnership with other neighborhood organizations, creating awesome community connections with many on the Northside, including the Northside Youth Crew. Some of the more recent events include a Youth @ Play Field Day and a Youth Sip and Paint with local artist Kenneth Caldwell.

Tommy Valerio is a volunteer with WCNO. He has been generous enough to donate his time and energy to helping revitalize the WCNO website to make it an even stronger resource. He is a professional media and website creator who does incredible work. Tommy also is involved with several of our committees, and provides valuable insight to helping the neighborhood (all while abroad, this spring!).

Thank you to Maria and Tommy, and to all our volunteers who help make our organization successful. We see your passion and dedication to the community!
