There’s still time to register for youth summer sports in Minneapolis Parks! The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) offers youth baseball, softball, and track and field teams across the city this summer.
All organized activities hosted by the MPRB will take place with modifications in place to help protect all league participants while offering opportunities to compete, have fun and be healthy in the parks this summer.
The Minnesota Twins Community Fund once again generously donated new gloves (while supplies last) for all 6U and 8U baseball and softball players. The Twins have partnered with the MPRB since 1993 to support youth baseball and softball in Minneapolis.

Umpires needed! The MPRB is always looking to hire more sports officials like umpires for baseball and softball. Earn up to $65 a game and stay involved in the sports you love. We’ll even rent gear for the season for just $10!
Volunteer coaches and instructors for youth sports are needed throughout the year for Citywide Youth Sports programs.
If your child is not into sports, go to minneapolisparks.org and browse the hundreds of activities and classes in Arts, Computers and Technology, Cooking and Nutrition, Health and Fitness, Hobbies, Clubs, Games, Language and Culture, Mentoring and Development, Nature and Environment, Preschool and Water Activities
Minneapolis residents who cannot afford instructional fees because of economic need may apply for fee assistance through the MPRB Fee Assistance Program.
