Shingle Creek Common Ground Garden Demonstration Raingarden

Since 1995 the Shingle Creek Common Ground Garden at 52nd and Newton Aves N keeps going! It has had a demonstration raingarden and natural wooded garden. It is a great pocket garden to stroll with the family. See birds, butterflies, flowers and maybe even meet a gardener or two. It’s maintained by a small group of volunteer residents that can always use a little more help. Stroll through this delightful garden to relax or contact us to help adopt a portion of the garden to help us keep this neighborhood asset looking great!

Residents can also go learn more online and complete a short survey in order to be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card. Fill out the survey by July 5; drawing will be held at the July 14 meeting.
