The last of six events in the Capri ‘as is.’
Moore by Four returns to the Capri for two grand finale Legends concerts, just before doors close and construction begins on the Capri’s renovation and 20,000 square foot expansion. The two performances of Stompin’ at the Capri are the last of six celebratory events featured nightly at the Capri May 7-12. All six events take place at the Capri, 2027 West Broadway. Legends tickets are $25, or $20 for groups of 10 or more, at capriticketworks.org or 612-343-3390.
“We’re honored to be the last group to perform in the Capri ‘as is’ and we promise you we will shut down the house with great music and in swingin’ style,” said Legends Artistic Director Dennis Spears.
Vocalists Spears, Ginger Commodore, Connie Evingson and Yolande Bruce will serve up some hot, classic Cotton Club jazz as well as some modern twists on cool jazz standards, along with music director and pianist Sanford Moore, Jay Young on bass and Steve Jennings on drums.
“This Northside theater has such an incredible history and exciting future ahead. Celebrate with us – and come on out for some Stompin’ at the Capri!,” said Spears.
