I am a 9th grade student at Patrick Henry High School and am writing to shed light on an issue I care about. I’m asking that Camden News readers support legislation to ensure that Level 3 Sex Offenders are released into the general society equally between all neighborhoods.
This change in law and policy is necessary because people feel unsafe around their community. Also, parents won’t let children go outside or places away from home. Why are Level 3 Sex Offenders allowed to be by schools? That is unsafe and wrong because they can see children — and you may never know what is going to happen.
