Get to know the people in your neighborhood.

McKinley Community hosts regular meet-ups the second Sunday of every month. This is designated time to discuss items important to the neighborhood and to brainstorm things we might want to do together.

Listening Session: Sunday, October 14, from 3-5 p.m. The agenda is yours and you can say what is on your mind or ask questions about things you have always wanted to know about.

New work groups are forming including:

Planning and Fundraising Work Group: create budget for revenue; brainstorm and implement fundraising programs; craft messages that inform and inspire; do community outreach and engagement, etc.

Program and Operations Work Group: strengthen community-supported agriculture and related food programs; evaluate program expenses; schedule and implement building and grounds maintenance; build base of garden and maintenance volunteers, etc.

Livability Work Group: Monitor neighborhood for improvement and beautification opportunities; determine and implement regular schedule for volunteer events; host information sessions with City staff regarding regulatory services, crime & safety, etc.
