The Capri Theater will host an open house for current and potential Capri rental clients this June in anticipation of the ground breaking for the theater’s expansion and renovation, expected this fall, and the theater’s closure during construction and grand re-opening of the Capri planned for the fall of 2019.
The open house for current and potential rental clients will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, June 18 at the Capri, 2027 West Broadway. This event is for performers and performance companies of all kinds (music, theater, dance, comedy, spoken word, etc.), visual artists, filmmakers, location scouts, event planners, neighborhood leaders, community organizers, and other organizations and individuals who utilize theater, meeting and event spaces. Architectural drawings, rental details and creative thinking will be in plentiful supply as conversations begin and creative possibilities are considered.
Capri staff members will also be on hand to talk about some of the features of the new space including the Great Hall, rehearsal hall, production support spaces, caterer kitchen, multi-purpose meeting space and the Capri’s beautiful bike-friendly, transit-oriented outdoor plaza.
The Capri Theater is owned and operated by Plymouth Christian Youth Center (PCYC). More info about PCYC, the Capri’s expansion and renovation, the Capri Capital Campaign, open house details and RSVP form (RSVP requested, not required) is available at thecapritheater.org.
