Cleveland Neighborhood is gearing up for a fun and exciting summer!
We are currently looking for one volunteer to move barricades at every Live on the Drive concert. We are also looking for someone with a truck that is willing to haul chairs and tables to and from the event (you will get two free food truck lunch tickets).
We are also looking for youth ages 14-19 to participate in the Clean City Youth project. They will participate in one neighborhood clean-up, and one field trip every week. They will be showcased in a short film at our Movie in the Park on August 5 at Cleveland Park, will become a certified Land Steward, and will receive some cash when the summer is complete. Youth from Cleveland, Folwell and Jordan may apply asap! Space is limited so call ASAP!
Interested in starting a Wednesday Walk Club in Cleveland Neighborhood? The Crime and Safety Committee is talking about starting one! We’ll keep you posted, or feel free to attend our Crime and Safety Meetings on the first Tuesday of the month!
Last but not least: We are actively recruiting women who are interested in joining our bike club this summer! We have room for 10 ladies who will receive a bike, go on biweekly rides together to local businesses where you will receive gift cards to spend at them. We will also be joining Slow Roll on their rides biweekly as well! Give us a call if you would like to join us!
