Sing together at the Capri Glee! Concert

The Capri Glee! Adult Community Choir, under the direction of J.D. Steele, presents a concert of soul-inspiring music at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway. The concert is free and open to the public. Donations to Capri Theater arts programs will also be accepted at the event.

“Singing together creates a sense of community that allows people to come together and share ideas in a multi-ethnic setting,” said Director J.D. Steele. “You will see and hear the fruits of our ‘coming together’ at this concert – and you’ll be inspired!”

Approximately 60 Capri Glee singers will perform a fun, eclectic, uplifting set of music including some classic tunes from the ‘70s and ‘80s, accompanied by Fred Steele on keyboards, Kenyari Jackson on drums and Charles Hayes on bass. Audience members will be invited to sing along and participate fully in this unique experience of sharing and caring.

This concert marks the conclusion of the third year of the Capri Glee! program at the Capri. It’s been a tremendous catalyst for creativity and community building. That’s the power of music. Come experience it! More info: thecapritheater.org.
