SCNA Elects Board members for 2018-2020
Congratulations to our newest board members Jean Hawkins-Koch and Patty West who will be joining reelected SCNA Board members: Bella Anderson, Fred Statema, Jeff Strand and Nils Badrul, and the rest of the SCNA Board and youth committee for another year of work and fun ahead advocating, promoting, and benefiting the Shingle Creek Neighborhood! SCNA hosts Fourth Annual STEAM Expo at Olson Middle School May 5
Youth are important to our community and help set the direction of the future!
SCNA is proud of our local youth and want to continue to support and showcase their work by hosting the 4th Annual STEAM EXPO!

Shingle Creek Common Ground Garden seeks gardeners!
Applications are now being taken for gardeners interested in gardening at the Shingle Creek Common Ground Garden at 52nd and Newton Aves N! It is a demonstration raingarden and natural wooded garden with 12 raised bed garden plots for flowers or vegetables! Plots are $15 to help cover the cost of water and supplies. SCNA Create a Community Center Committee
Having a community center is important! That’s what we heard residents say last year during our year-long community engagement efforts. Whether its programs or physical improvements this committee is meeting once a month on the third Wednesday of the month from 6-7:30 p.m. at Creekview Park to discuss the ongoing progress of the MPRB Master planning efforts, Creekview Park improvements and growing connections in the community! Be watching for Pickle Ball announcement coming soon too!
