Camp Capri S3 (Third Saturdays) gives middle school-age students (grades 5 -8) the chance to explore the arts, spark new interests and make new friends, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the third Saturday of every month at the Capri Theater. Camp Capri S3 sessions are free and lunch is served.
Every month the students explore some avenue of the arts – from dance, theater and music to spoken word, the visual arts and more – with an experienced guest artist. On January 20, artist Christina Ashford will give the students an opportunity to delve into the art of jewelry making.
“Overall, we want the kids to have fun, increase their interests and experiences in the arts and continue their growth through Camp Capri S3,” said Dennis Spears, Capri Artistic Associate and Camp Capri Director.
