The ice rink season opens as soon as ice conditions allow this December and runs through February 19, at Webber Park, 4400 DuPont Ave. N, 370-4972.
Warming house hours: Monday thru Friday, 3-9 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; and Sunday, noon-6 p.m. And remember there are extended hours during school release days, noon-9 p.m. on Dec. 26-Jan. 5; Jan. 15, 25, 26; and Feb 16, 19.
North Commons Park has hockey and skating, 1801 James Ave. N 370-4921. Same days/hours as Webber Park. For hockey leagues contact the park.
In the event of inclement weather (heavy snow or a combined temperature and wind chill of 20 degrees below zero), the warming houses will be closed. Check out minneapolisparks.org for info.
