Events Committee: Cleveland Neighborhood Association had an amazing Live on the Drive concert on July 13! The weather was great and the crowd was thick! Over 1500 in attendance!!
Community Development: The Board just voted to reallocate NRP funds to replenish the Home Renovation Loan Program. We also changed the guidelines so that everyone may be able to take advantage of loans between $1,000-$7,000 to make improvements to their homes. If you are at 80% AMI your loan may be forgivable!! GMHC is servicing these loans until July 31. Please attend our August 8 Community Development Meeting @ 6:30 p.m. to discuss the options of a new loan servicer so that Cleveland residents will be able to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
Youth Committee: Disbursed three Gardens-in-a-Box to Penn Ave residents. Please attend the Youth Committee Meeting on August 3rd @ 6:30 p.m. to help plan the free one-day Bike/Nature Camp in August, and the Party in the Park/Back to School Event on August 12. There is a light snack at every Youth Committee Meeting!
Crime and Safety: Dealing with a safety issue? Please attend our Crime and Safety Committee Meeting on August 1 @ 6:30 p.m. so that you may be able to exchange information and facts with your neighbors and directly to the 4th Precinct!
Greening Committee: Workdays in the garden (Vincent and Lowry) every Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Farmers Market on Wednesdays from 3-7 p.m. The Greening Committee has also partnered up with Lucy Laney’s Summer School and the Story Orchard to have Thursday field trips to the Garden!
