Spring Garden Workshop, The Best Plants for 15 Tough, Urban Sites
Saturday, April 1, 10 a.m., Webber Park Recreation Center, 4400 Dupont Avenue North
Learn from Master Gardeners at this free workshop presented by ViNA’s Garden Club. Attendees will learn how to plant and care for gardens in the toughest urban sites like those found along boulevards, in shade, and in alkaline soil. Camden Candy Grab

ViNA and Corner Church, Corner Coffee, Thrivent, Thirsty Whale Bakery and The Warren are hosting a family-friendly spring event that will feature an egg hunt, cookie decorating and more. Admission is free and open to all ages.
Home Security Workshop
Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m., The Warren, 4400 Osseo Road North
Although crime in Victory continues to decrease, the prevalence of social media and other 24-hour news cycles can fuel the perception that crime is on the rise. Helping residents feel safe in their homes is of utmost importance to ViNA and for this reason, the organization, in partnership with the Minneapolis Police Department, offers regular Home Security Workshops. The workshop will be led by a MPD crime prevention specialist and will provide homeowners and renters with tips on how to improve their home’s security. Light refreshments will be provided.
Attendance at the workshop may qualify attendees to apply for and receive a rebate from ViNA for security improvements completed by Victory residents.
