Shingle Creek neighbors! We invite you to mark your calendars to attend our annual SCNA meeting! We have several guest speakers from the Minneapolis Park Board, City, County and State attending. Come and celebrate the work of SCNA and partners from this past year and look to elect and reelect board members!
SCNA is a 501c3 organization. Our mission is to organize to be a voice of the community, to advocate and promote the Shingle Creek neighborhood, to improve neighborhood livability and economic opportunities, to involve and empower residents, and to promote the safety and health of our community and its residents. 23rd Annual Shingle Creek Clean-up Saturday, April 22, 9:30 a.m.-noon
We invite you to attend our 23rd Annual Shingle Creek Clean-up at Creekview Park, 5001 Humboldt Ave. N! We provide bags and gloves. Door prizes! Clean up will be from 9:30-11 a.m. with a light lunch provided from 11 a.m.-noon. Contact us to volunteer at mpls.scna@gmail.com.
The sixth annual Community Connections Conference – Your Voice, Your City: CommUnity – will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center Saturday, April 1. The conference is free. All are welcome to make their voices heard; participate in interactive sessions, robust learning and exhibits; and enjoy a delicious cultural lunch.

The current neighborhood structure of the Community Participation Program is set to end in 2020. Neighborhood organization staff, board members and residents can take this opportunity to help plan for the future of neighborhood organizations and their roles in communities beyond 2020.
