SCNA Gratitude Celebration Tuesday, December 13 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Zig Ziglar once said, “The more you recognize and express gratitude for the things you have, the more things you will have to express gratitude for.” Shingle Creek residents have been giving us some great feedback and are getting involved in helping us complete our work!

And we just want to say “Thanks!” by throwing a party!

Gratitude is the theme of our celebration on December 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Creekview Park. Don’t know what a neighborhood association is or what it does? Curious what it’s like being on a nonprofit board with a bunch of other neighbors? We invite you to come and meet us and some of our partners like VINA/Tiny Fields, Herobotics, Organic Recycling/City of Mpls, and more! Partners will share a snippet of their projects and what it’s meant to partner with SCNA! Plan to attend to this fun, free and exciting premiere neighborhood event! Light refreshments will be served!

SCNA welcomes new Board Members Bella Anderson and Nils Badrul

The Shingle Creek Neighborhood Association is a small nonprofit 501c3 organized to be a voice of the community; to advocate and promote the Shingle Creek neighborhood; to improve neighborhood livability and economic opportunities; to involve and empower residents; and to promote the safety and health of our community and its residents.

We operate by having volunteer residents helping us with the day to day operations, planning, fundraising, and planning events throughout the year that help so many residents in the neighborhood and the community. We welcome our two newest board members, Bella Anderson and Nils Badrul, who both bring a wide variety of talents, time and skills to our board along with exciting new ideas on ways to benefit the neighborhood!
