Holiday on 44th

No matter the weather – we come together. Don’t miss the 19th Annual Holiday on 44th celebration – all along 44th Avenue from Morgan to Upton, on Friday, December 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. We don’t know what the weather is gonna be – so grab a coat and hang outside or enjoy all the good stuff inside!

Along 44th Avenue outside you’ll enjoy free horse-drawn hayrides, pony rides, fire jugglers, Patrick Henry Marching Band (at 6 p.m.), ice sculpturing, caroling, wood carving and roasting marshmallows over fire pits.

Businesses all along the avenue will offer holiday magic with free goodies, entertainment and great deals – you can even get a massage. And you can start your holiday shopping at them all. Yes, keep it local!

Inside Patrick Henry you’ll find the huge arts and crafts fair, big silent auction, choruses, drum and dance, robotics, face painters, Zoronco Flamenco and “make and take” gingerbread houses. And of course get your holiday shopping here too.

At Loring School you’re treated with all kinda of fun for the kids from the Great Bodini, special friends from the U of M Raptor Center and Loring Center Irish dance.

Holiday on 44th is a must-do event in Camden – and most activities are free! Get warmed up for the holiday season. Info at holidayon44th.com.
