To the coward who hit me with their car when I was crossing the street in my wheelchair in early September, and who drove off without bothering to see if I was hurt or not:
Yes, I was hurt, in body and spirit. I live in pain almost daily, and since you hit me I’ve been in extreme pain.
I am hurt in my spirit because I can’t believe you, a hit and run driver, could be so cold-hearted.
Sooner or later we all have to account for our deeds. Someday you won’t be able to run. May you get as you have given.
