FLOW-goers: Make it a point to stop by the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway, between noon and 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 30. You’ll find a student art exhibit on display in the lobby and fun, animated short films running continuously inside the theater.
The animated Summer Shorts! will be selected by a jury of cartoon experts – students enrolled in Summer Camp Capri and PCYC’s Summer Friends program. You can stop by to watch all of the short films over the course of about an hour, or catch just one or two in the air-conditioned comfort of the Capri.
North High students are among the artists whose work will be on display in the Capri lobby. Lindsey McNown, visual arts instructor at North High, is pleased to have her students’ work in the spotlight. “It will be fun to see how we can grow this exhibit over the years,” she added.
The FLOW Northside Arts Crawl is a three-day event running July 28-30. Be sure to be at the Capri on the July 30! Find info on FLOW at northmpls.org. For info on the Capri contact director James Scott at JScott@pcyc-mpls.org or 612-643-2024.
