Kids of all ages can attend daily or drop in anytime to enjoy a variety of fun summer activities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, through August 12 at Cleveland Park, 3232 Queen Ave. N. The program, presented by PCYC in partnership with the Cleveland Neighborhood Association, is free and open to youth of all ages. (Note that youth under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a responsible sibling or adult.)
This year youth participating in Summer Fun at Cleveland Park will get to try their hand at violin and guitar lessons, drawing and graffiti, and hand drumming. Cleveland Park is also equipped with a playground, basketball courts and a swimming pool, and PCYC staff members lead the kids in organized games and activities as well.
“Drop in” means that young people can come to the park for one day or 10 days or every day – whenever they’re looking for something fun to do! Families interested in signing youth up for the full program can do so through the week of July 6. After July 6 all youth attending will be considered “drop in.”
Free meals will be open to the public. Breakfast will be served at 10 a.m. daily and lunch at 1 p.m. daily. If you have questions or need info contact Catrice O’Neal, 612-643-2026 or coneal@pcyc-mpls.org.
